A blue ceramic cup with a yellow drip glaze inside, sitting on a matching blue coaster with a glazed finish.

Rooted in ritual, made to be lived with.

Rooted in quiet ritual and shaped by touch, my ceramics explore the meditative process of making.

Each piece begins as a conversation between clay and hand, and is transformed by the quiet alchemy of heat and glaze.

I work primarily with speciality stoneware, layering glazes and lustres to evoke a futuristic, tactile aesthetic. Traditional Japanese forms inspire my work, but with a contemporary sensibility: vessels that hold both function and feeling.

Whether sculptural or made for the table, these pieces are meant to be lived with – objects that ask to be held, used, and noticed.
